Hi. I'm Zach.
I’m a leader at the intersection of music, finance, and tech entrepreneurship with broad subject matter expertise in the Music Industry, Startups, and Creative Asset Management.
As an executive with more than 10 years of experience I thrive bringing interesting projects to life, whether they start as a scribble on a napkin or a fully-baked business plan. I’ve been fortunate enough to achieve an exit, work alongside GRAMMY winners, manage $100m+ budgets, oversee a music investment portfolio, and was Co-Founder and CEO of Andrson, the world’s most accurate, ML-fueled music categorization and recommendation engine.
I love a good powerpoint, prefer my corporate bureaucracy in small doses, and excel at packing the maximum punch using minimal resources. I also believe in following a quiet leadership style to empower my teammates and foster organization-wide growth .
The way I approach work mirrors my philosophy about life. I strive to: do good, be good, have passion, and make progress. Not surprisingly, I believe there are 4 elements intrinsic to succeeding at those ambitions:

2 Exploration
I've done everything from managing artists to supervising a company P&L to raising VC funding to launching a platform from scratch. I don't mind making mistakes because I love learning, and I've learned a lot — all in the name of creative, technological, and commercial advancement.
Impactful results don’t come easy. It’s late nights, winding roads, mercurial egos, and demanding stakeholders. How I manage all that? Proactivity (and a liberal PTO philosophy for balance). It’s filling the potholes before they’re hit. It’s doing it today instead of tomorrow. It’s making sure early efforts lead to later successes, because results we're proud of is the ultimate reward.
4 Creativity
As a creative thinker I subscribe to Picasso’s philosophy: when I haven’t any blue, I use red. I believe solutions can be found no matter the circumstance and while my inherent focus on The Forest™ allows me to excel at implementing big-picture goals, I also believe outside-the-box problem solving leads to innovation, team empowerment, and sustainable organizational growth.
